This is an important time for you, as you begin the exciting and often arduous task of searching for a graduate school to begin your masters or doctoral work. At SEAS, we will provide you with the necessary skills to be successful in our rapidly changing world. You will have the opportunity to work with world renowned faculty members. Additionally, our fine facilities, academic centers, and research laboratories will always be there for you.
Once you have made the decision to pursue a graduate education, many students begin the search for financial aid and fellowships or assistantship opportunities. Our Presidential Distinguished Fellowships are designed to assist outstanding students in affording their graduate education at Columbia. The fellowships provide recipients with full tuition and a yearly stipend for up to three years, including three months of summer research. All Ph.D., Doctor of Engineering Science, and MS/Ph.D. applicants are considered for this fellowship opportunity. Additional fellowships and financial aid may be available through our individual departments or through Columbia's Financial Aid Office.
