New York City is where innovative ideas come to life.
Hosted in partnership with the NYC Economic Development Corporation, NYC Next Idea 2012-2013 invites teams of two to five participants to submit business plans for ideas that may be commercially viable in New York City. Six teams of finalists will win a six-day, all-expenses-paid trip to New York City to compete in the final round of the competition hosted at Columbia University. Finalists will have the opportunity to learn about and network with leaders in the City’s business and entrepreneurial community.
The 2012-2013 Competition is open to both international and US-based students. New York City-based venture capitalists and angel investors will evaluate entries. There is a cash prize pool of $35,000.

Our six finalist teams have been selected from a pool of over 200 entrants. Come watch the final presentations and live judging on March 13, 2013 at 9 a.m. in Davis Auditorium.
