Joint and Dual Programs

What joint programs are offered with the School of Business?
The School of Engineering and Applied Science offers joint programs with the Graduate School of Business leading to the following degrees:

  • Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering
  • Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Operations Research
  • Master of Business Administration and Master of Science in Earth Resources Engineering

Interested applicants must apply to the engineering and business schools separately. Each school has different admission requirements. The applicant must be accepted to both the M.B.A and M.S.

What dual programs are offered?

  • Dual Master of Science in Computer Science and Journalism

Interested applicants apply once through a combined Columbia Engineering and Journalism School admission process.  Participation in this dual-degree program is contingent upon acceptance into both the Graduate School of Journalism and The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science.
